beautiful british columbia
on a bit of a whim, i took a trip to vancouver, b.c.
lefty and jenn scheduled the weekend around the death cab/franz ferdinand show. of course, the show didn't quite work out but a good time was had by all. not at the same time, mind you.

fortunately the degrees and focus vary. anh planned the trip, i drove and jenn made certain we always had a topic to discuss. oh, and she took most of the snapshots, too.

nice work on the post! a very well-done summation seeing that you had plenty to choose from...though I notice a few are left out? hm...guess we'll leave the crowd wondering....
we'll have to remember our wife-beaters and camo for next time; we'd fit in better at the bar - though, let's try not to match. if we do, let's aim for only high-end wife-beaters with good finishing.
anhl is now in charge of food forever, too. excellent choices! and how could we have ever known dcfc would open for freakin' ff?? ug.bummer, anhl, but we'll see them soon enough!
had a great time, fun shooting the event especially! i am an accomplished travel historian, after all. and really, really nice to have you cart me around, smb. (that is, when a cabbie wasn't). thanks for driving. know that i stalled once within 2 blocks of dropping you at the boat. alas, i was out of practice.
glad you came along, you know how i love surprises. extra points to anhl for keeping it under wraps! i think i'm actually still surprised two days later... ;)
